Makedo are an award-winning, family-run business based in Melbourne, Australia. Their guiding principle is that all a child needs to bring their imagination to life is the right tools. In 2009, Makedo founder PJ was inspired by how much time his kids would spend playing with the cardboard box rather than the toy. He set about designing a series of open-ended tools to help kids turn that ordinary cardboard into something extraordinary. Makedo is on a mission to empower kids to build a better future through making and play — one piece of cardboard at a time.
